I call it a Rorsch because that's what the in-game name says when you kill someone with it. Rorsch Mk-S8 for the Anti-Ground one, and Rorsch (something) for the Anti-Air one.

I don't think the three pieces of toilet paper that consitutes an EA manual covers such things. But, going on memory, I think Rorsch is the correct spelling.

I hopped on Single player to check, Rorsch Mk-S8 is the anti-ground one. Didn't check the anti-air one, but it's definately Rorsch.

Rorsch Kz-27 + Mech Anti-Air are the names given by the 2142 stats site...here

hahah! Funny! Thank god i never wasted any of my life reading through it then! THanks guys! I just saw two different spellings onthe web and being the pedantic fool I am i wanted to get it right!

Because its the Rorsch and everyone else is wrong. Technically, the ground defense one is the Rorsch Mk-S8 and the AA site is the Rorsch Kz-27.

I love the Rorsch (Mk-S8). I find it easier to hit and kill with at long range than a sniper rifle - it's a totally stable firing platform and it re-fires faster.
Strange, eh?
