EMP grenades -- they're not just for walkers y'know!

I've noticed that while the standard support kit in TG squads seems to be [players choice of gun], IDS and EMP grenades, the EMP grenades generally only see the light of day if heavy armor comes rolling around. This boggles my mind as, since you're a support player, you actually have an infinite number of EMP grenades (3 at a time yes, but you can get more easily ;P ). While I HAVE seen the odd support player lob a EMP grenade at infantry, I'd certainly like to see it more often. Who here doesn't hate it when the Enemy CO drops an EMP strike on them? I certainly do, being EMP'ed decreases your combat effectiveness by a large margin, and players often panic when a squad rushes them while they're EMP'ed. Even when you're surrounded by your squadmates and you get EMP'ed you run the risk of shooting a friendly a couple times instead of an enemy. A single, well placed EMP grenade is as effective as having another friendly squad attacking with you, but you still don't see it that often. Not to mention it'll shut down any sentries (uncommon, but some situations and a decent number of random pubbies bring em out). Now I haven't tested it, but I think its also supposed to kill off IDS? Anyone know about that one? If IDS is the Supports 'Defib' then EMP grenades are certainly their 'Rifle Rockets', they soften up infantry like nothing else and can draw em out of cover (I don't know why, but it does xD ). So if you're a support and you're moving in for the attack, lob that EMP, you'll save tickets, time capping the flag and help ensure you succeed in your objective ;D
Good Luck. You're gonna need it ^_^

yeah nothing better than shooting someone whilst they're running around in circles or hiding waiting for the vision to come back! Not sure about the IDS though! ! !

We need the reminder of the awesomeness of EMP grenades. I use them all the time when I pack Support. I often get asked "Why not just throw grenades?" Grenades are revivable, there's nothing the enemy can do about being EMPed. Plus it messes with their minimap, so locating downed friendlies takes more time than usual, which may be just enough time for that volley of rockets to make contact.

Also, unless they're using the Ganz, their long distance accuracy is going drop to almost 0%. The Ganz, although having iron sights, will still see a significant drop in accuracy, but is still a threat.
