I like the Baur. It's just plain ole fun to use. Plus, when you do decide to another Assault Rifle, you seem to do much better with it, after playing with the Baur for a few rounds.
NOTE FOR YOU SUPER DUPER HARDCORE 2142 PLAYERS THAT OBVIOUSLY KNOW BEST: I said it's fun to use, not the best.

Indeed, I use Baur for practicing, but if I want to do better I use Voss.
