Re: Rorsch Sniping
What, you didn't see the long running post: "The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !"?
http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...-question.html
My favorite Rorsches for people snipping are West of Junkyard, Dry Lake 32p, and Outer Bridge Lock-north of road and extreme north. They are great for taking out would be snipers.

Re: Rorsch Sniping
I love Rorschin' infantry. My favorite spot is on Cerbere Landing, at the Command Center: the bunker at the top of the hill with the Rorsch next to it. It's in a good spot; you can see everyone running up the hill, and short of a rocket, no one has a good angle to get you before you get them.

Re: Rorsch Sniping
The best spots are on Junkyard Tunis, West side of Bridge at Remagen, and Carebear during the grind for Command.
Aim for body shots. The projectile does not fire through the crosshairs, it's a little to the left and up maybe a pixel or two. The main tricks are getting used to the warm up time, and the movement of the gun to hit moving targets.
Also, beware of rockets. If you die in it, you're unrevivable. Even hopping out to die is fine.

Re: Rorsch Sniping
After you're far enough away from the rorch, the rorch becomes a revivable death. I've seen this happen on Tunis in which a rorch at power was sniping at the end of it's sight line at people in eastern.

Re: Rorsch Sniping
Rorsch deaths have nothing to do with distance or gib-damage. A player can only achieve the killed status in three ways.
1) He dies inside a vehicle or Rorsch.
2) He dies after the 15 second revive counter expires and his corpse dissappears.
3) His body is thrown so far away from a kit that he cannot be revived and therefore is declared dead.
Number three is the case with most Rorsch kills... the body is clipped away from it's pack in such a way or at such distance that the body becomes unreviveable. Sometimes, however, the body isn't thrown away, and that results in revivable kills. Sometimes you can even salvage it if you have ridiculous reflexes by giving them a faceful of medpack causing them to unclip.
Lastly, has anyone had the weird bug where it says you're dead but you are still reviveable? That always puzzles me.

I disagree with this as I have been "killed" by a Rorsch and close to my team mates where they try to revive me and can't as I am "killed" not "critically wounded". However, on rare occasions, I have been revived after a Rorsch kill.
