Make yourself worth getting revived!
Often we talk about revives and the giving end. But what about the recieving end?
I have a feeling once people go down many:
- Take a sip from their beer
- Pick their nose
- Punch themself
- Watch the posters of big breasted women on their wall
- Brush their teeth etc
Then they get revived and are almost shocked to recieve one. Next step is to spill their drink or something.
So when you go down:
- Keep watching the minimap
- Communicate with your teammates. Seriously you dieing quiet in shame helps noone. Tell people where you are even if you died by a stupid mistake
- MOST IMPORTANT: Be ready to jump up and run away! Be ready to push space or whatever gets you up fastest and take your legs. Nothing is more annoying than reviving someone and he stars at you like a deer into a flashlight - then you get shot both! Get up and run!

Re: Make yourself worth getting revived!
Good post.
Also if a Medic is asking you about your time via VIOP.. by the f***ing sake of god stop talking random crap about the weather, your mom, the weather at your moms place or whatever and tell him the time! Things that are even worse than reviving someone how just stars a whole in an enemy instead of shooting wholes in his head is when you are jumping through enemy fire, tell him to get ready to shoot and are just about pressing the left mouse button just to see his body disappear... really that freaks me out every time
/rant off...

Re: Make yourself worth getting revived!
Remember that there is also the sad voip time so its better to give 1second less than the actual count, may save you!
I'm always ready for revive unless it seems like complete vipe, but even then I'm back in action unless the caps lock menu is ruining my sight >.<
I'm so used to press space after getting revived that I sometimes jump after some1 has been trying to revive but fails at last second and I spawn in!

Re: Make yourself worth getting revived!
Excellent post, I've been doing this more recently and my survivability has gone up considerably. On the other hand, I still seem to be medic kryptonite... I can have 5 medics around me and no one will revive me.

Re: Make yourself worth getting revived!
Good post.
Here's my medic's wish list -
Call out immediately when you go down - "Lyra down"
Call out the time remaining when you get roughly halfway through the 15s.
If you are SL and it is a critical revive situation, call out your location.
Lately I've seen SL's put the move marker on their body. Win..

Re: Make yourself worth getting revived!
Yeah, I love reviving people and getting revived, but it peeves me when I have a squad full of medics, and no one gets to me (its understandable if there are enemies all around my body, but if I'm behind cover, GET ME!)
Usually, if I am running medic, my teamwork points will be much higher than my kill points, because I sit back and revive the frontline runners when they go down.
Tip: get your timing on revives down. Recently (especially today), I will go down and call for a revive (I am the SL), and I see one of my squad peer down at my body, take out their defibs, aim down, crouch, then press revive, miss, then do it again, then get shot in the head by a sniper.... NO!!!!!!! This is NOT how you revive someone!
Below are some steps to help with reviving techniques:
1) take out your defibs before you reach the burning corpse of Mr.Anderson.
2) Just before you reach the burning corpse of Mr.Anderson, press Z to prone jump.
3)You will land pleasantly right next to the burning corpse of Mr.Anderson.
4) Ignore the rancid smell of the burning corpse of Mr.Anderson.
5) defib while aiming at the CHEST (more of a percentage that it will register)
6) As soon as you hear the resounding cackle of the defib, press Z and run to cover.
7) All these steps, from prone jump to cover should not take more than 2 or 3 seconds if done correctly. You have now saved a ticket. Congratulations.

Re: Make yourself worth getting revived!
Do you mean prone "jump" or prone "dive"?
If you jump to prone in open fields you might get kicked.
