Yep, scoreboard is very useful. You can kill people, guess their spawnpoint, know when they spawned and estimate how long it'll take them to reach their most likely waypoint and be there waiting for them. Especially useful for capping flags. You can also see guys that have spawned, but haven't shown up in your scrolling game-info in a while; they're likely rushing.
