How can
as far as armor fests go, i prefer sidi to shuhia. It's go more lines open to different flags. The flags themselves involve some infantry battles.
Shuhia is far more standoffish and far less infantry friendly than sidi. Also, for whatever reason it crashes my game. Even if it weren't for that, it's usually my sign that I need to take a break.
I'm not sure if it can be made fun, at least not for me. I'm not a fan of armor maps to begin with and that one just seems horribly lopsided for armor on the winning team as it is. The combination of elevation along with the lack of decent routes means if the team that is holding the center is half-way decent with their armor they can pretty much engage on their terms with little fear of retaliation both from enemy armor as well as enemy infantry. The only decent answer seems to be the modified ROFLcopter that a few of our pilots employ (introduced to me by Mr.Ander50n) which is neither armor nor infantry and, while fun every now and again, is hardly something I want to do every time a map comes up.
Excuse me for being a fly girl, but I like Shuhia for the gunships. On Suez 32 player, EU only has one gunship while PAC has two. On Shuhia, each team has two and is on even footing. I prefer Suez over Shuhia but I would rather us run Suez 64 player so that the air battles are a bit more balanced.
I think Suez 32 with 1 EU Gunship and 2 PAC Gunship is perfectly fine for air balance. 2 EU Gunships with the EU walker Guardinng the air would really overpower PAC.
I like the map, just takes some planning and teamwork. I have never seen a standoff when playing this map. There are too many ways to get to a back flag and weaken the lines.

I think in the vurrent rotation are far to many armor maps.. but thats just the opinion of an infantry guy...
There are always less SLs on armor maps than on infantry maps and i for myself donīt lik SLing in these maps as well.. but if we hit the 30 second marker and there is still no Squad i have to step up and make one... but since i pretty suck at leading those maps and donīt have that much fun playing them the gaming-moral drops pretty heavy and more often i just leave then.
well watever, just my 2 cent.

I love the armor maps where the roflcopter can be effectively used, particularly on sidi where there is only one gunship spawn, and if your team gets the gunship, air superiority ensues, making it quite fun to shut the enemy team down with motion mines and machine gun barrages =)
On larger maps, such as suez, I like flying and gunning in the gunships, and to some extent playing around in infantry squads with a saaw or a medic kit. I don't usually like going engy, since everyone else is already one, and I feel like it's overkill. I just stick to shooting down enemy air and reviving the lemmings who fall around me =)

Agreed. Shuhia is the map that makes me quit most often.

Fubar, would you care expanding this?
Every map is fun with planning and teamwork. However, most infantry SLs don't like it because it's vehicle-reliant.
There are infantry vs infantry from Freezers -> Central, Freezers -> WMP, Central -> Offices. Paratrooper vs infantry most heavy on freezers, then office, then central.
Except for properly coordinated paratrooper drops, APCs will wreak havoc on any of the above mentioned situations, making infantry really only useful at a highly conservative defense effort or paratroop flag capture (and then steal armour to assault a flag).
That's how I view the map. Of course, this is only playing it and analyzing it for two SLing rounds (like black_mirror, I will only SL this map when noone steps to the plate. Then I'll take a transport (even though I can only barely pass as a pilot) and take the armor-denying flag).
Without teamwork, you'll never survive.
Without betrayal you'll never win.
