Kinda hard to notice since the picture seems a little dark (on my monitor anyways). Well, the Voss has a secondary scope too, except it just has a cover that flips down.

Re: The Great Scar Debate
Yeah, I honestly never saw that in all time I've had a Baur + Rockets in game. Also not getting the whole "first look at this" thing.

Yeah, uhm, you do realize that until explaining that your image, small as it is, is quite unclear. To me it looked like a plastic toy monkey rubbing it's chin.

Since when does a space marine look like a plastic monkey? You might want to get your eyes checked.
in the mean time I hope this helps
That is a custom map from the upcoming scrim run by the 128th, you should look at that thread for more details
but back on topic,
Although its been said before several times, the best gun is the one the user is most comfortable with, yes there are statistically better weapons, like the krylov, but its not for everyone. What is more important than gun choice is choice of tactics and picking your engagements.

Lol, Thats EXACTLY what I thought it was Greyed, now I see.
Yes your right Reap, the Scar is the gun that you should probably use before specializing with one of the other guns (i.e. CQC with the Voss, longer range with the Baur and generally destruction of enemies with the Krylov. NOTE: I am NOT saying that this is all that the guns can do, please do not think this is what I mean).

Since the human brain is wired to recognize faces. See, the black portion look like two eyes, the red to the sides are the oversized ears, the helmet-ridge is the nose, the helmet itself would be the monkey mouth that the hand is covering up as it is rubbing in a thoughtful pose. Yeah, sure, blown up it is hard to mistake it for a plastic monkey but avatar size the smaller details (like the crest on the chest and helmet) are lost. :P

Described it perfectly, or completely not-perfectly, depending on your point of view.

Re: The Great Scar Debate
@ Greyed: I also thought it was a monkey rubbing it's chin for the first few times I saw it......but it didn't look quite right. It was only later that I saw it for what it was.

Re: The Great Scar Debate
I know what a space marine is, just didn't see one in his avatar until it was pointed out.
Proof? 40k, 'nuff said.
