Re: The Great Scar Debate
While the SCAR-11 may be a tactical useless weapon, it's damn satisfying to fire.
Listen to the Voss and the Krylov go 'pew pew' and then fire a SCAR and bask in the 'BLAM BLAM BLAMMY' awesomeness.

Before people talk about the sounds of various guns, they must state whether their sounds are on high or low quality because it makes a considerable difference.
With that said, I am on high quality sound and if you want a weapon that sounds good, ganz, clark, baur, and zeller cannot be beaten.
(I secretly hate all of the gun sounds in 2142, why couldn't they sound awesome like this:

A Space Marine is a Soldier fighting for the Emperor of Men in the Warhammer 40k Universe. It´s a fiction future based thing that relay on many things like a table top game, many books, a couple computer games and i think there is even a pen and paper.
This Warhammer 40k Universe also includes Orcs, Eldar, Tau, Necrons, Chaos-Space Marines and many other "races"
For further information please read http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Main_Page
Just type in Space Marines and you should get enough and better explanations.

They also have 2 hearts!
Yeah, I'll stop now...

Re: The Great Scar Debate
@Nine. Thousand- Incorrect: ULTRA HIGH sound cannot be beaten. The weapons sound almost like real life. You can hear the sharpness/crackling sound of the weapons, and if you thought the EU airtrans weapon was godly before, this is a whole new space/time continuem (not sure how to spell that, continium maybe?)
Ultra-high coupled with the background music of Metallica, Megadeth and other metal is about the closest thing you can get to absoloute perfection.

Re: The Great Scar Debate
True, the weapons do sound realistic enough for me.

Ultra high, eh? I might have to see if I have it on high or ultra high, I forget.
Also my preferred music is The Scatman.

Re: The Great Scar Debate
I've played the game on all four of the levels of sound quality. SCAR-11 just sounds so cool.
Of course, that may just be me.
