Any tips on what I should do when encountering an enemy and leaving the battle alive?
This might have been brought up before in the past, i dont know.
But every time I come face to face with an enemy, its 50/50 chance i live or die. Especially in infantry maps such as tunis or camp G. Say im walking around a corner advancing to a flag, and there is 1 or 2 guys coming my way, and i have to take them out. Sometimes it will look like i won the shootout, like getting more shots on him than he does on me, or behind cover.
In the end sometimes i will just... Die, and i keep wondering to myself what i did wrong.
Any tips i should remember, tips that might increase my chances of surviving shootouts with enemy players on infantry maps?

From what you explained, I would start doing this:
After every engagement
(ie. I just killed two people.. I feel safe. I can take a breath. I can reload).
Move to a new location (doesn't have to be too far. Just don't be in the same 10meters), point to your old one.
Other stuff you probably know. Like grenades prior to the engagement (even if you don't kill, 20 damage beforehand goes a long way, not to mention pushing enemies outside their comfortable area), move with friendlies (less bullets are shooting you, more bullets are shooting them), throw down a medhub if you need to stay still (such as on a flag. and even then, look around).

WHat is your ping on the server, this could have a lot to do with it. If it is high, then someone else with a high ping could help you out with tips to adjust for this. You also maay be getting killed by reinforcements that you are not aware of.

I really liked Crux's Infantry guides here: Tactical Gamer Guide Index

Bob’s AI is not very sophisticated. This is because Bob doesn’t ask that one critical question: what just happened? And because Bob doesn’t ask this, he cannot evaluate his combat actions for effectiveness. In essence, Bob isn’t stopping to consider if there isn’t a better way to react to this circumstance. One time, six months ago Bob probably came around that corner and managed to kill all four. Never mind that they were all snipers at 20% health, in Bob’s mind all he recalls is watching those bodies fall to the ground. He spends the rest of his gaming career trying to recreate that moment of glory.

I realized from reading it that for the most part I was an aggressive player - didn't like to stand still at all, running was better. I still move around a lot, but now I wait also, which has worked really well.
As for what to do, you against two other players both trying to kill you isn't very good odds. Find some way to break people up and shoot them separately - grenades are really good for this, a well aimed grenade will net you more kills than a full clip of rifle bullets, and cause people to scatter.
The objective should be to stack to stack the odds as high as you can in your favor, without resorting to illegal/TOS-violating methods. Shooting people in the back works great.
Hope some of this made sense,
David

If you absolutely HAVE to face them head on, your best odds are to find some cover. Lovely boxes, barrels, crates, etc.
Here's a decent guide on cover, and if you really want to improve your play, I suggest reading this one as well.
Both very, very solid guides absolutely chocked full of tips on awareness and cover and engagement. Definitely worth a read.

Re: Any tips on what I should do when encountering an enemy and leaving the battle al
Personally I find it hard to know if the other person just is a better shooter than me or if it's related to ping (I usually have around 130 in ping so I guess I'm one of the highpingers). Blaming the ping is of course convinient . More seriously, everyone can get killed, high ping just means that you have to try to think more and try to get a more preferable angle (from behind is good). Easier said than done and I personally fail at it a lot lol. Learn from your misstakes and try avoid doing them again.
If I find myself outnumbered I, usually, try to run away to get help and/or a better spot to engage from. From a tactical point of view sometimes it might be worth throwing your life away in order to kill one of them so they have to revive and thereby giving your team/squad time to catch up.

more IDSs -> more situation awareness -> better decision making -> more time not running into the wrong situation -> more time being alive and doing things for your team

Also, im talking about trying to increase my chances of survival when i run into an enemy, like if both of us are aware of our presences. Other than using cover any thing i can use to my advantage if cover is not around?

Aim faster and shoot better. Really, two assault players, one on one, head on, no cover, both people are aware of each other, the one that aims faster and shoots better will win. Oh, and don't forget about crouching.

Re: Any tips on what I should do when encountering an enemy and leaving the battle al
but pulling the grenade out aswell as pulling the pin takes a few seconds, thats enough time for the enemy to shoot me down. I do my best to maneuver, but I would die from being shot, and the enemy would die from the nade i threw a few seconds before.

I also see one guy take out more than one guy with an assault rifle too, I hear they prioritize their target, based on threat and etc. Anything i should know about?

Shoot the guy that is facing you first.
