Should This Be Illegal?
Ok so me and my squad were sitting at a control point on Sidi Powerplant tonight and we are happily punching away at armor and the occassional buggy rampaging Flik
When someone on the other team takes their transport parks it on a hill, by himself, and starts hosing downthe PAC controled left half of the field. Now I can understand using the transport in the air as a supression platform, but parking it just enough behind a hill that you can't hit it and spamming away with the chaingun seems like it should not be allowed. We also think this guys might have been using hacks because he is on the other side of the map killing us quicker at that great distance then the gun normally would at close range. Plus there were two streams of bullets but only one person in the craft. I sniped him out with my guided rocket launcher eventually but he wad never reported for anything. Is this legal, because it seems very unrealistic and cheap.

Re: Should This Be Illegal?
Why not ... he's a sitting duck, but a waste of a transport and because it isn't a Titan map nobody else can spawn in it with him. This tactic is used all the time on Titan maps like Suez where somebody parks the transport on one of the towers and F2 is in the gunners seat guarding the flag... never lasts long because the gunship always takes him out.

Re: Should This Be Illegal?
Its valid and for the hack part just go and have a look at the BR and most of the time you'll be able to tell. Or you can just post in the contact an admin forum I always had good time with them regarding possible hacking/aimbot.

Re: Should This Be Illegal?
For me it seems unrealistic, and very lonewolf like tactic. Taking the transport just for lonewolf-like point farming in the back is very questionable in my terms as whole, especially if the person parked this out of bounds (which you didn't state).
I don't think this is discussion of any rule, more of if this kind of situation is included in any rule. Happy to see it in open discussion.

Re: Should This Be Illegal?
I don't think he was out of bounds but he was close. It wasn't so much for spamming as it was for that kind of lone wolfing tactic but he was on the whole round so he must have had a squad. I thik his name was kyle or something with some othere numbers. I was just making sure the status of that tactic because it seemed cheap and unrealistic. Thanks!

Re: Should This Be Illegal?
I don't thinks its illegal because he's using a transport ship that can easily get killed and if it was not a titan game then you could of got your command to send an orbital strike on it. Its cheep but the transport ships got gun's and he's using them, nothing unrealistic about that. (my opinion)
