I filled out the engineer unlocks first then assault and now I'm working on support. Unlocking all but the guns is a good idea because the field upgrades come quick. You could finish up the personal unlocks (extra nade and clip) |

Re: Coordinate your unlocks!
Thanks for the advice. One thing I have noticed is if you are in a squad with a bunch of other TG players, you soon have more FUs than you know what to do with. Hmm, it's down to the second sprint upgrade, the IPS, the Assault NetBat, or the Engineer repair upgrade. I could also take the smoke grenade, but I'd consider it a waste right now, and I don't do much SLing, so the RD will stay an FU. Heck, I might just close my eyes and point randomly.

When you choose an upgrade, it might seem like a waste, but you have to remember that the field upgrade for that tree si the next item. I've never EVER used the Smoke Grenade, used the IPS once, never used the shotgun attachment, only started using the support infantry detector last week. Don't think short term when you choose your unlocks, looks at what possible item you CAN get later as an FU. Thats my recommendation.

Re: Coordinate your unlocks!
Going for the assault NetBat would give you access to FU the rockets. I think that's useful. The engineer repair would give you the motion mines that have been useful for me as well. I would concentrate on either of those classes before moving on to another class tree.

Re: Coordinate your unlocks!
Yeah, I think I'll unlock the engineer upgrade, because I don't do a lot of assault-medicing right now. In another ~650 points, I'll be a 1st Lt. silver, so I'll have another point soon enough. Does anyone find that strange, by the way? They have 1st Leutanent before 2nd Leutanant. Not in the real world.
