Look, the rules on the connect screen are quite clear. All players must follow CO and SL orders. If you think the order is stupid, let the CO know. Yes, a lot of times the COs don't have mics... what I do when faced with a retarded order and a silent CO is to reject the order first, then tell the CO my objections and that if he or she really wants us to do that, to reissue the order, and we'll accept it and go there.
But if you've checked with the CO and the CO wants you to do something. Do it. Do not make it a habit of disobeying CO orders just because you think they're stupid and want to do something else. This is TG, not pub-land.
