If this is not the right place to ask, feel free to move it, but I've had some issues using the rocket unlock. It doesn't seem to explode on contact against enemy vehicles/walls or whatever.
It actually took me a while to figure out that the rocket explodes once it reaches the distance listed in the viewfinder when you zoom. (I'm a noob gamer =P) I just assumed when I first started using it that it would explode once it a hit a wall like rockets in most other FPS's.
Also, if you right click to try and shoot someone across the map and there's a tree branch or something in your line of sight, the viewfinder might show 20 meters. In that case move around till the proper range shows up.
Practice when no one's around; aim at a wall, then right click, take note of the range in teh viewfinder, and shoot once. Then scroll the mouse wheel back or forward once so the range changes a bit, and shoot again.
Remember if you aim at something too far behind your intended target when you initially hit the zoom, your range will start out too long and your rockets will go thru the wall.
Play around till it feels right and you'll be fragging hidden enemies in no time.
I think it's the top. The most common use is getting people behind walls or on roofs. Aim at the wall, go scope, give it a couple clicks up with the mouse wheel depending on the enemies distance and let all three shots rip. I'm still trying to get the shot drop worked out a little bit. Those sentry towers on Tunis harbor, you have to get the rocket right in them to get the sniper out. Not many people snipe from the monorail anymore, becuase it's just so effective at clearing people off.
The main disadvantages of the rockets that I can think of is:
They are not that strong, and it takes 2 direct hits or 3 close hits to take someone out.
They give away your position in a spectacular way.
They require some aim and as far as I can see are impossible to aim while moving.

Ya, it takes some getting used to but these rockets are actually awesome.. one thing I've learned to do is fire the first one off as a test and see if you get a hit (crosshairs should get that big fuzzy white circle around them momentarily), and if you do fire the rest off, if not then adjust the distance and vertical aim and fire the other two off. The cons noted above are absolutely true and it sux but come on, for the damage these things do its well worth it.. especially if you use them wisely (best is firing into or out of the cargo bay on the titan), they can also be used to wipe out buggies. Also note the 'crosshair' style ; it has two lines getting closer together.. basically it gauges distance and the effect of gravity.. so if your shot is going to be a far one the rockets will drop down somewhat (trajectory is an arc).. what I've noticed is that for each milimeter from the top of the 'crosshairs' that is a drop of about 1 meter per 100 meters range... roughly (actually thats just a wild guess - but if anyone knows this for sure feel free to reply)... Oh, and one last thing that is a pro is that you can use them as a one man suppressing fire agent... in other words, if you and an enemy are across the street and you both are firing at each other with machine guns the odds do not favor either you or him, BUT fire a few rockets his way and he will duck for cover, while he is doing this you run across the street and switch to machine gun and strafe around the corner and give him a face full of lead (50% of the time he will be facing the wrong way and not even see you coming) - the rockets are a good tactic-maker.
It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
It has been almost 6 months now and I am still waiting for the second peer-review report to come in for my next book (this one is on the future of television).
Things usually unfold faster than...
