Assault rifles
Maybe I'm just crazy, but I seem to actually perform the best with assault with the good ol' Scar 11...I do pretty well with Voss too but the Scar's almost complete lack of recoil (even if it has less punch) makes it much more practical (more short range though).

Baur is ment for single shots at medium to long range and short bursts at close range. If your too quick on the trigger it will just dance around your target, doing little to no damage. I hate the other assualt rifles, I only use the Baur when I play with that kit.

Hm, I'll have to try that..I've been doing well with the Voss lately but I've read that the Baur has a lot of punch - so in single shot mode it might be worth a try. Thanks!

I compared my Scar and Krylov stats. I have better accuracy with the Scar (27% vs. 21%) but a 4.2 K/D ratio with the Krylov. I've spent 3 hours more with the Krylov but that's only because I've played more assault class with PAC.

Trust me on this: The krylov is undoubtedely better than the scar. I always prefer playing PAC for this reason.

Well, for me it's the SCAR and the Krylov, at short range anyway there seems to be very little recoil so it seems to make for easy aiming.

Agreed. I'd say all the PAC weapons are equal or better than the EU weapons.

Yep I like playing PAC as well, their weapons feel alot better to me. (wonder if they have the MADE IN CHINA tag)
As to the BAUR I agree with you there. I am not big on it. Ive used it quite a bit but don't like the style of it.

I really like the Voss for close combat though, now, cuts em down quick and has the clip to take down multiple targets. Can't ask for much more than that.

The more I play the more i prefer the default rifles. The voss is good but the scope of the krylov and scar can't be beat.

Can't mess with the Baur... I love it to death... I guess it is more my style. And I almost win in all medium to long range firefights unless the other guy has a Baur or Sniper rifle.
Anyway it is the best of assault rifles imo. Just keep it in single shot and make every bullet count.

i use the baur when i have it unlocked. I like to use my assault rifle to pick people off at medium range, so it's just about perfect for me
PS. Does anyone else not bother making the last unlock in a tree since they've started playing on TG? I haven't seen the need since I usually have every single field upgrade within 30-40 minutes of playing.
