    Ticket Timer vs. Bleed?

Okay I tried to encourage some non-TG members in my squad to gather up and move in at moderate pace. I tried to explain running in one by one to be mowed down with no one rez is not in your best interest. I dont know if this been posted before, but how many tickets do you lose for not controlling 50% of the flags? I say that asking how critical is it that you rush in to gain flags when you are under 50%? Since of flag urgence vs bleeding? Thank you.
I invited everyone at the office to play Battlefield, but it was a rather one side match when I was the only who brought an assault rifle to work the next day :-)

Bleed rate is a factor of the percentage of flags you own. On 5 flag maps like Shuhai Taiba it's not so critical to get that last flag to turn over. In 3 flag maps like Verdun, I can't say the exact speed, but I can say bleed is a critical factor in winning the game. In Tunis I can't be certain, just because of the high rate of attrition from regular infantry death.

I have a couple commander sessions recorded, to get a better anwer, I'll record some more and try and calculate the exact ticket countdown time based on the flags that are owned.

A rough rule of thumb is 10 tickets per minute for a one flag advantage.

More commanders need to learn when to put up a good defence and just hold what they have.
When you can't run, you walk. When you can't walk, you crawl and when you can't do that, you get someone to carry you.

On a similar note, single assault maps are interesting. Its certainly worth it for the defending team to try and control all flags, if one is lost i'd say try to retake it. But once two or even three flags are lost, it becomes more advantageous to keep infantry on defense and work on racking up kills.
