Again QFT. I just recently started lowering the sensitivity for my 'main' sensitivity on my MX518 and I am doing much better now with aiming the Baur. Play around with the sensitivity and see what happens.

I'm glad I didn't read that far down... Still doesn't help the sniper's aim unless such an activity helps put him/her "in the zone". yuck

To practice my sniper aim, I remember I used to get on pub servers with Friendly Fire and just fire at my own guys (doesn't do any damage).. because they were good practice targets (some moving, some stationary) and I could just relax and focus on practicing my aim instead of worrying about getting killed in the heat of the battle/moment. Plus if you get a hit, the dude waves and says 'stop firing!'... :-/

Yea, pubbies are mad funny; when they get shot in the body with a sniper round there is a second delay and then they simply drop down (prone) all scared and wait until the second round finishes them off. A hint for all pubbies getting a sniper round in the gut --> Start RUNNING like a MOFO for cover, try to realize the direction of the damage, get healed and then stay behind cover (real cover - aka far away from where you got shot and in an enclosed area) while moving in the direction of the sniper position (get up close, distance is not your friend) - as you get closer you may hear the sniper fire again which should allow you to zero the position and start firing rockets..etc. (flush him out). Do NOT simply go prone in hopes that you will not get shot again...hehe

I prefer a different approach using pub servers...

Step 1: Find that lucky pup server
Step 2: Get RDX, APMs, and a Pistol

I place the aiming recticle over the persons head. then i a rapid movement press/depress/repeat

No better way to practice aiming than in game! This way you learn from your mistakes as you sit there reading "You have been critically wounded: 14...13.."
On a serious note, I only practice my headshots with sniper rifles in single player.
