Recon Decoy: What is it?
Okay...let be start by saying I'm a slack-jawed dimwit.
Right then...now that that's out of the way...can someone explain how this new decoy thingy works?
As far as I'm aware, it sets up a false "blip" on enemy radar/hud. Does it somehow replace your "real" signature with this false one?
Does it fetch you coffee, or keep the drop-dead gorgeous women from mobbing you (common problem for me)?
I haven't figured out what it does, so I've been hesitant to devote one of my kit slots to it until I know if it'll keep Briana Banks from throwing her knickers at me.|TG-9th| Prophaniti

If you are close to it, 30 meters radius I think, it will replace your signature. If you are further than that it will still show up but so will yours. Please correct me someone if I am wrong.

jonan got it right - decoy was supposed to be 60 meters btu I havent done any first hand testing
