Re: Battlefield 101 - The Prone View
the only way i've ever been able to revive is by aiming at the chest. i dont think the game allows you to revive anywhere else.

Re: Battlefield 101 - The Prone View
Probably not possible w/ 2142, but in BF2, if someone's unrevivable because they're clipping a static object, you can just throw a med-bag at them. This causes a physical interaction which usually causes the engine to un-clip them thus making them revivable.

*sniff sniff* smells like....another rushed EA game...
Well, there goes my prone sniping from rooftops. OH MAN! I've been going prone behind support holo-walls with my view up close to the wall...with my model's head sticking out through the front of it!! ARGH!

Re: Battlefield 101 - The Prone View
Dunno how much this would work in 2142. The medkits are boxes that don't bounce around like the bags in BF2. I have seen a body slumped over a medkit that was already on the ground, so maybe, not too sure though.

Re: Battlefield 101 - The Prone View
It Actually does work. if you chuck a med-box at a body that is clipped in game you would be able to revive him. I've done it many times. Works like a charm, and the health regeneration doesn't hurt either.

Re: Battlefield 101 - The Prone View
My problem is that I've assigned to crouch to "C" because that was what I was used to on COD2, however, COD2 is different because you don't have to hold down crouch, but with normal button configs for basic movement (WASD), I can't move right and crouch at the same time, which is annoying. I tried to switch my sprint and crouch buttons for a while (shift and C), which would mean I could manoeuvre, while having my little finger on crouch, but I had been using it for sprint for so long, it broke my intuition, and ended up crouching when I wanted to sprint...which didn't help much, especially when I was in the middle of an OS...

Re: Battlefield 101 - The Prone View
I'll go prone to pass by a wall that has enemies behind it, but I'm moving parallel with the wall. Please continue to not check there. I'll defiantly have to watch when I'm sitting in one spot though.
