Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
I was the last guy up a set of stairs last night, and a grenade wiped out the entire squad except for me. Three of my squaddies were "impaled" on the steps and I couldn't stand them up. I dropped a med kit on one of them and was then able to revive him before he faded. Because he was the SL, squaddies were able to spawn and we took the flag. Thanks for the tip!

Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
Yeah, this has become more and more useful over the days. SL was down in a puddle in Belgrade last night, but was able to make his body rise to the surface and was rezzed and away we went.

Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
Wow, I'm glad this is helping out so much. I heard someone talk about it on another post, and thought I'd try to confirm it. Well, here we are now, healing our "once thought unrevivable" SM's and SL's with no difficulty at all.
umm... hello?

Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
Only issue is the new patch holding back the medkit and being able to use 'em frequently. Thankfully, the patch is screwy because I can still pull one out every now and then after using one.

Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
Yup this worked yesterday when a SL was stuck in a wall. Too bad that with the 2142 hub system of supply and healing that you can't pick them back up, it takes ages to get a new one.

Anyway, Aero have some rep!

Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
I can just hear the yelling. "No dummy, put your crate on me then revive! 5 seconds!"

Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
Hahaha, I've done this before but the guy wasn't in my squad.

Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
Thanks for the tip! This worked fantastic last night during "Frosty Friday". I'm sure my squad mates were happy I remembered this little nugget of info. Had to use it several times during one round alone.
Props Aero!

Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
Thanks for posting this. I had no idea this could help. Clever thinking.
And I love the RDX idea. I've never heard a more sadistic approach to saving someone's life.

Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
The time it would take to get to the body, put it down, get to a safe distance, detonate, find his body and defib it... I don't see this being easy. Fun and awesome, hell yeah!

Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
That's a great tip, thanks. Also, I'm not sure if it's always critically wounded players getting "stuck" that makes it impossible to revive...don't certain weapons negate the ability to do so? Tank shells are one example, I think.

Re: Using hubs to unstick Crit Wounded
I heard somewhere on these forums that if you move too far way from the kit you drop, you may not be revivable. I think i may have been revived from a tank shell before, but if it's a direct hit, you'll probably be flying far away from where you one were. I know a direct mortar hit from an APC is unrevivable, and so is being hit by the railgun.
umm... hello?
