APC Belgrade Tactic
Hey guys,
Well I was playing conquest on Belgrade 5/31 and I was bored of the whole run to this flag run to that defend here no there. So I decided to load up my whole squad in an APC and run them, well. . .every where. It worked really well, and we pretty much wiped them off the map. I would just take the APC where the enemy wasn't, and tell my guys to pod out onto the flag. I would stay in the APC and kill anyone who tried to spawn in and take it back then load back up and be gone.
As a side note could someone post a link to a site/forum where it tells how to video?

The product you would use is FRAPs, and to edit, use windows movie maker, standard with XP intall. There's a subforum on this site in the hardware section, they've got some good info/advice/links.

FRAPS is not a must, although it performs the best. You can use other products like Guncam game recorder (http://www.growlersoftware.com/) and hypercam (http://hypercam.com/). Both come with a watermark when unregistered, just like FRAPS, but they can be cropped out with certain editing software.

Yeah, there's a few alternatives, but from what I've seen/used FRAPs seems like the best/easiest to use. There's a few others that seemed promising, but the free trials didn't record sound, so I didn't really bother with them.
APC on Belgrade, there's what you did, or the standard shell com tower/any flag, that can really put the hurt on another team.

The other team must have had a crappy commander, then. On Belgrade and Berlin I use the EMP/OS almost exclusively to kill armour. An APC roaming free on the battleground should be destroyed after a few minutes.
I have to make that commander video, because I notice alot of commanders who don't know how to do an EMP/OS comb. I'm trying another video editing software.The Dirty

And that is exactly what started happening to us near the end of the round. We were still quite effective in avoiding that too. We were in near constant motion so the EMP/OS usually missed.

I was there also, it really was a fun round. Mines should have been an issue but weren't. I and another squad member were engineers, and usually one of us did quick repairs while the flag was changing. 1 driver, 1 morter, 1 on repair, and 3 on the flag. If I remember correctly the artillery is what finally got us, but not until we had taken 6 - 8 flags.

yeah the commander finaly figured out why all his flags were going down. By that time it was to late though. I plan to try it again and video it. Originally Posted by Finglas

3) Kill everything else
