Re: Attention COs : Talking to Individual Squad Leaders
When i command i normally use the map for the basic commands, attack here, defend here, ect. I try to remember to use the "V" key for specific requests, such as drop an IDS at such and such base. I must admit during some battles I have only used the B key to communicate. I am trying to get better at using the individual squad communication key, but there are times when so much is going on it is quicker to give an order over the all squad channel rather than trying to select the squad and then using the V key. I do not think I am a "chatty" commander, I will give out a warning of an enemy flanking manuver to a squad but most times I use the "Spotted" option.
The main problem I have is I get requests for supply or UAV and have no idea who just requested it. I really like my SL to use the commo rose to make thier requests for assets. That way I know exactly to drop the crate or the arty. I am trying to do better, but I guess it will just take more practice.

I can't remember, but I think that in the CO screen...the person talking lights up or blinks or something. I know that is does when you are looking at the mini-map and a squad member talks.

Yeah... the keys are backwards from BF2. Why they changed it is beyond me. Kinda like the 5-6 debacle with the ARs
