Re: Tactics: Surroundings and Survival
It certainly gets the adrenaline pumping that's for sure! I find that if I'm in the situation where I'm alone, my heart beats very fast (Soon I'm going to use my dads heart-rate monitor -for running and exercise- to see how fast my heart beats when I'm in enemy territory, alone). And you seem to be more aware and reaction time is slightly quicker, but when you meet an enemy coming around the corner in that situation your next stop might be at the local hospital, or having to take deep breaths and regain a calm state of mind for several minutes.

Re: Tactics: Surroundings and Survival
I am in the situation so many times where I am the last person alive! My squad goes around a corner, and I am setting up mines, or laying down a sentry, or even reviving another fallen comrade, and then I see on my minimap 4 or 5 people facing north screaming for me. Sometimes, and some of you might remember this match a few weeks back, I would be on Ruins on Belgrade, and people kept getting shot by the APC, and I revived, and revived, and revived, thinking that each revive will help the tickets and possibly give the fallen infantrymen time to reach a safe location. I got a revive pin, just from that minute or two.

Other times, though, we would be on Fall of Berlin, and I would be in a "sneaky" squad, and I am assigned the only medic, to be far behind the rest (as a strategic thing), and they all get mowed down by a walker. Now what?
...and even other times, I would be on Tunis Harbor, and we would be on Junkyard defending, and a random TWO full buggies speed toward our location.
They kill all of my squad minus me, because I always find random places to hide, just for the fun of it.
Should I stay, or should I go?
