I'm new and confused, I've most of the material in the: "Battlefield 2142 - Official Rules, Announcements & SOPs" category, but still have some questions, I would really like it if they could be answered, and I know some of them might sound stupid, especially the 1st one, but i would really appreciate answers, and I'm sure most people know the answers.

1. Is this a proper clan, or just a group of people that like to play a certain way.
2. If so, why is it so easy to join this clan? Or am I just a member of the forum, I'm so confused...
3. What is the teamspeak address.
4. What is the server IP.
5. All of these different squads like 7th, how do I become part of them, and what do they all mean, why are certain squads different?
6. Do I put TG now on my clan tag?
7. I've never really played with a properly organized squad before, will I get kicked or banned from your servers for accidentally not following orders properly.
8.Do you also use XFire?

Sorry for these questions, but I'm finding it hard to get definitive answers. Thanks to everyone who replies, in advance. And also thanks for being patient and friendly enough to actually take the time to read and answer this.

Also, sorry for posting this in every topic, but I really need some answers, I hope it doesn't count as spamming.

Fisrt of all, Welcome! Second, you posted the same question in three different forums, I assume to make sure you got an answer. Concr3te answered you in the Technical support forum.

This is not a clan, it is a well formed communtiy(family if you will) of mature gamers who stride to play the game as it was intended with as much realism as is possible. We follow orders and play very organized, you will be informed if you are not following orders and not be kicked, bt instructed as to what you should be doing. Ignoring orders or Admins' warnings may result in a kick, but that is up to the admins.

First welcome to TG, and im glad you read those topics before posting.



Now to answer your questions.

1. TG is a community. A rather large dysfunctional family if you will. We all love to play games and like to do so without the drama and immaturely of other places.

2. You are more then just a member of the forums, you are now a member of the community. Your voice is always heard and listened to. Once you are registered and have read the SOPs you are good to go and are welcomed everywhere.

3 and 4 All that info is listed under the GAMES menu on the top of this page.

5. The 7th is an example of an inhouse squad. You can do a forum search for "inhouse squads" to find info on those.

6. Adding the TG tag is up to you, once you feel that you are upholding our values and wanting to let others know that go ahead and add it. But know that adding the TG tag comes with some responsibility. By adding the tag you are basically saying " i will follow the rules and know them" so you get no warnings and are held to a higher standard on servers. You are expected to play TG style.

7. Once you get in game, let those you are playing with now you are new. They will gladly help and get you on the right track.

Alot of us use Xfire and we have a thread some place with alot of xFire IDs in it.
