Did they change that in the patch? Because I've spent a lot of timing testing this out, and feel pretty confident in my original statements. PM me how you did it, definitely wanna check it out.
Yep tested it on a non TG titan and the motion mine bait not the motions fell through the floor most times. Usualy only explodeing when when they were near it. It was not 100% fail but not likely worth while.
Theres something else I was going to try tonight to see if theres a way it can be made to work reasonable rate. If a bait falls right by a motion they more often explode and they will follow a motion that is thrown far away very fast. So you may be able to walk them in and then explode them with your next throw.
Rifle Rockets can hit the core from up in the cat walks still though.

I haven't done anything special, I do it all the time. The trick is to nail the RDX on the lower half of the graphic, that usually does the trick, if I remember correctly. I'm usually hitting these at 150+ range or even 200+ range when I'm sniping RDX, and it's usually around CP's and silos. Indoors, it's a helluva lot closer. For both instances just nail them on the lower half. I do this all the time before 1.4, so I'll have to test again with 1.4, just to make sure it still stands.
Well, what is the RDX placed on? I know that when you put it on any part of the Titan, its considered a vehicle or an object, and will explode upon being shot, same goes for silos.

Well, because your doubt put a splinter in my brain, the other day I went and played in single player mode just to check this out. On the Fall of Berlin map and the Suez Canal map, I placed RDX and APMs on the ground, on structures such as buildings, bridge posts, and even a trash container and background vehicle (the VW bus looking things.)
In every single instance I was able to blow up RDX and APMs, even if it was on dirt. I hit it quite easily from a distance of 150m, but at around 200m it became difficult (no stabilizer used.)
I guess the only place blowing up RDX with your Zeller would be handy (for destructive purposes) is if you see a friendly recon place his RDX on an enemy vehicle, but get hosed before he can detonate it. (It happens.) Then you shoot his RDX before he respawns, but you'd better be good!
Otherwise, you're simply a long range engie with a really snappy defuser that happens to have a scope. Hey, it happens! The other night I cleared out a whole road full of motion mines and EMP mines for a squaddie in a walker trying to cap a silo.
It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
It has been almost 6 months now and I am still waiting for the second peer-review report to come in for my next book (this one is on the future of television).
Things usually unfold faster than...
