Heh, if you think the 3rd and 9th are scary, you'd be terrified of league play. There are some truly amazing people out there.

Alternatively, you can relax. Simply realize it's a computer game that will be forgotten in a few years, and if someone has a problem with you not being all that good, you can either:

(A) Shrug it off and continue having fun, which is the ultimate objective;
(B) Send an insult back their way along the lines of that "you have a life and don't have much time to practice obsessively over a computer game";
(C) Stop playing and try a new game.

Just some solutions that don't involve practicing like it's life-or-death.

Well said. It's really a non-issue now for the next few months. School started up again so that means limited play time. Oh yeah, and the wife just picked up Guitar Hero II. Quality time with the wife together with video games...can't beat it!
