Re: The Herzog and You!
After playing some more, I realized the SCAR + Herzog is an awesome combo.

Re: The Herzog and You!
I still don't find myself attaching the scattergun to my Baur anytime soon. I understand it may have its uses in a few instances, but the depth the rockets add to what you can do isn't matchable.

SCAR after next patch may be one of my preferred weapons.

After playing PoE and being used to using the shotties in CQC many times (you'l love the Bianchi semi-auto shotty BLAMBLAM .25 secodns between and your target is dead) I set about unlocking this thing. Of course, i've made other mistakes assuming that the smoke grenades, voss, etc would be aweseome too after using things like the VEPR and the PoE smoke grenades, only to find that these grenades are pretty bad :/

ROFL!! Ever need a few tips Im always here! Im working on finallizing my experiments, I learned a few things new but since I noticed a lot of ?????[Herzog] AzureRising I wondering if I can get some more feedback from the community! The Rockets and Herzog are very balanced, it comes down to your playstyle as we all know heard it before. BUT <--(Emphasis always wins!) For those of you who perfer long range, grab the Herzog and remember how many times you get killed reloading and flip to the Herzog and say in your head "Yeeeaaaa biatch, say allo to my ittle fwiend!" Also even in the past people seem to get angry when they get killed with the Herzog, they never say its unfair they just get very impolite lol

LMAO... I agree with you kinda Ive gotten pretty used to both and I always veer towards rockets. I think rly depends on map, playstyle, mood, preference but most of all SITUATION.
If your tryin to cap an infantry style flag then rockets will usually be next to pointless where as herzog could be a life saver. This applys to most of the Camp Gib (which is savage) bases. When u finished capin there'll usually be some hole-ridden "leftovers" they'll usually be carryin rockets, so you can just swap back.

I will try to stear the thread away from that and state that in all seriousness I have noticed that the herzog shotgun can be VERY deadly. I love running around pumping people full of pellets just as much as the next guy but I can't help the fact that every time I equip the Herzog, I end up seeing some guy up on a monorail or behind cover and instictively switch to that slot only to realize there's not a damn thing I can do about it.
|
If you're good with a Baur, you can take out those monorail campers with TWO SHOTS!
Besides, rockets are for noobs.
Yes, I realize this is an older thread, but it's a good read.

Re: The Herzog and You!
Yes ive used the herzog quite extensively, only to realise it is far less powerful and useful then the clark.
i vary my kit according to the situation, usually switching between
Assault( defrib, krylov, PK-74)
Engineer( default RL, ll-29, emp mines) i use this kit for the turcotte
Support ( clark, drone, pulsemeter)
or alternately (ganz, drone, IPS)
i find that between these setups i have general coverage of my situation
The herzog is there to add versatility to teh assault kit
gee this post was long and pointless

You can't really compare the Herzog with the Clark, unless your planning on running around with just a Herzog and not even using your Assault Rifle. It's like comparing Smoke Grenades and EMP Grenades.
Rockets add versitility just like Herzog but the bottom line is how you play and what your get yourself into. If you in constant CQC the Herzog will be a great side-arm, likewise for Rockets in long range.
You can kill just as many people with a Herzog as Rockets, I think I may have proved that in the stairway at Belgrade the other night !
