Re: Tactics: Gunship Gunner
I'm better with the missile than I am with the gun. Not to mention that the death scream that infantry yell when hit with the missile is so much more rewarding than shooting them with a silly gun

Re: Tactics: Gunship Gunner
Why does everyone who bails from the gunship deploy their parachute at the last second?
In my experience, if you're quite high, deploying the chute asap means that if the gunship is staying around just to get you, spot it, and you've more time for your second gunship to get to your position. Plus, if the enemy pilot is stupid enough, he might kill himself by crashing into your chute (as far as I'm aware you can't be killed while airborne in your chute?).
I've also had a few kills with my pillum while about 150ft in the air in my chute. Though those are pretty hard to come by.

Re: Tactics: Gunship Gunner
Just a tip I usually employ...
When approaching a hostile silo, Take out the AA emplacement from afar with the TV missle, if there are no enemy vehicle signatures present (Or if you know there isn't a walker).

Re: Tactics: Gunship Gunner
I'm not sure if this was mentioned...but turn down the sensitivity under land vehicle, it's much easier to aim the TV missile this way (credit to Repaq on this one)
Just remember to change it back before getting into another vehicle or rorsche
