    [Video Tutorial] "My favourite SCAR"

    Hey guys,

    after reading through all the SCAR sucks and Rockets pwn the Herzog posts, I decided to give it a try and see what the SCAR 11 in combination with the Herzog really is like.
    My conclusion: it rocks! People who say it sucks need to test it out before saying it, because once you figure out how to use it effectively, it will be just as good as the other AR's. That, and the fact that the Herzog shotgun attachment can really kick some butt.
    To show people that this combination can work, I made a video with little hints and tips plus some real action.

    Whats it about: How to use the SCAR 11 and the Herzog AR shotgun effectively
    Kit loadout: Assault - SCAR 11 - Light Armor - Herzog AR shotgun - Defib.

    * important: put your volume down a bit since the volume is pretty loud

    ** the footage has been filmed on a pubbie server, so I'm not sure how it would work against 'real' competition

    Soooo.. you shot..

    13 guys where 10 out of them wherent even directly looking at you - and 3 of them could have been knifed easily.

    Ok poor resistance. And the SCAR sucks. But still the fast switching between Herzog + SCAR(Voss, etc) came clearly i thought, but i may be an easily amused fool.

    Oh my yes. After patch, I think I'll be using the SCAR as much, if not more than the Krylov. If the beta accuracy that I experienced keeps the same, this gun is going to rock!

    Yea, I don't like one of your points say, it wasn't on a TG server and I didn't noticed any rockets flying your way or flying at all for that matter. With the way we use rockets on TG servers, you really just have to use them.

    Yeh the Scar is v.powerful, just behind the baur but doesn't have the recoil of the baur either. I'd say the only problem is the spread after a few shots.

    This makes me think there really is a place for the SCAR on the battlefield. It has power like the baur for the long range single shots, but can be more effective in CQC than the baur because a larger clip and less recoil...unless of course you meet someone very skilled with the baur. Then you can kiss yourself goodbye.

    i picked up a kit the other night that had a scar in it and played around with it for a bit, may need to re investigte this now that I have some time with the other guns.
