something happened to my BR

A couple of weeks ago i download some files to watch from battle recorder and they worked fine when I played them. Today I downloaded 2 files from last week they load up fine until it says verifying client data then I crash back to desktop. Any ideas?

On another note has anyone been able to get any BR files from the servers recently

Battle recorder files downloaded prior to the 1.40 patch dump me onto Windows desktop as well. I have no problems with recent recordings(from other servers). BR can't be running on the TG server because when I filter my server list in-game with Battle Recorder checked, TG does not show up. Since the 1.40 patch has been applied to the server, I haven't seen a single TG battle available for download. I used to view my TG games to learn from my mistakes and study movements of other players. But, to my disappointment, I haven't been able to do this now on the TG server. Any word on this admins?

Old files will not work because of the patch. The server is not currently running BR while we try and figure out what is causing all of it's problems;(

so what if i put the old patch just to get the files would it work?

Give it a shot and tell us how it works out. If you do decide to go down this route, it might be worthwhile to just copy the current install to a new folder and then uninstall and reinstall with the older patch.

well the only prob i thought of is i got 2142 off the ea downloader last year and now that im thinkin about it i dont want to uninstall and then not be able to reinstall if its no longer on there >_<

FYI the Battle Recorder is still not on. Just did an advance search and our servers do not show up at all. Just thought you should know.

well i uninstalled bf2142 and reinstalled only the 1.25 patch and all the old br files seemed to work

now that my movie is done i can reinstall back to 1.40
