Throwing me out

K, heres the thing. I launch BF 2142, strt playing and then it just throws me otta game and the game closes. What should I do 'bout it.

I had that problem, I just deleted my radial.cdb files and it was fixed.

Oh welll, those radial files are just [ieces of **** with purpouse of first renaming and then deletin

i cant reinstall coz i borrowed my friend a dvd. and if i could reinstall i'd search for answers to that question coz i hate those updates what install hours

You borrowed your friend the dvd? So you´re using a no-dvd crack? That´ll explain it.

so, i need to download usual BF2142.exe file from internet to play normally?

It does not work like that. You must have the DVD in the drive, because of the embedded anti-piracy software that checks the presence of the DVD. Using any other executable (program / software / code) will prevent you from playing online. Do a Google search for "punkbuster" to find more.

Take your DVD back.

There are legit, working No-DVD cracks that people use for simplicity, but I don't know of them offhand. I'd suggest just using the DVD as well, no issues there as long as the CD key isn't being used by your friend too.

I only know one way to play without a the disc.

Get daemons tools or alcohol 120
Get Securarom
Create an "image" of the disc
Emulate the Bf2142 core files and .exe
Then break the cd-key

Do it all over again with each patch
Then run the "image" in Daemon Tools or alcohol 120

pm me for detailed instructions

- it's not stable at all
