So many crashes

Ok heres the deal, the game crashes when i try to enter a server. It says joining server and stays that way (ctrl+alt+del doesn't work) and when i enter the game and play for around 5 minutes it freezes but backround noise (distant artillery) still play. Will deleting the radial file fix this. if so tell me where it is since i can't find it.

Re: So many crashes

Give it a shot and let us know. It could be a heat issue, maybe with the video card.

I think you need this.

1. Go to My computer, then to your 2142 folder
2. Click the menu up top named Tools, go to Folder options...
3. Scroll down, and click 'Show hidden files and folders'
4. Right below that is 'Hide protected operating system files' uncheck that
5. Look for a file(in your main 2142 directory) named radial.cdb, then change it's name to something else.
I can't find it either. I've tried searching for it. I'm using Windows Vista. I'm thinking that fix was for XP.
