VOIP Stop Working In Game

This just started happening after reinstalling windows and the game. After playing a few rounds with VOIP working, when the next map loaded it stopped working. I check my mic, it was fine since Teamspeak was working, I double checked my key mapping, that was fine too.

The only thing I can think of that changed since the reinstall was a new mic. It's the same exact mic as the one I've been using for months now. (I ripped the wire in half on the old one) Any ideas?

Windows XP
Realtek AC'97 Audio (Up to date driver)

Did you try turning off EAX in the audio options in game? I had a similar problem and once I turned that off it worked fine.

Realtek audio SUCKS for simultaneous VoIP/TS-ing. I had to get an external sound device (USB headset) to bypass Realtek so that I could use both TS and VoIP at the same time, although my problem was that while one worked fine, the other would be really static-y.

I have yet to change settings or anything and it seems that it may have been a bug or my CPU was just being mean! So far it has not occurred again!

Your computer's just messed up, Azura. You need to have it exorcised.

I had this problem only to find i had the mic muted. I use an audio 350 which has that little volume/mute controller in the cord. I guess i somehow flipped the switch unknowingly. Doh!

No my TS worked fine, I had to communicate for the next few games of TS, until I logged, VOIP worked when I logged back in!
