BF2142 Memory Error?
---> "memory.dll: sanity check: block size 141538020 (134.98 MB) doesn't seem sane"
Thats the actual message, got a screen dump but don't know how to add it, this just crashed my game :/ seems all i do is bug the nice people at |TG| BF2142 TechSupp..

I had that bug before, run a search to see if another post has been made on it. I swear I did.

do you run vista? and when did it occur?
Because if you DO run Vista and this occurs during a map change than head over here: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...top-tgitf.html I had it too and this solved all 2142 problems for me!

I'm still running on old XP, only happen once so far, crash was mid game and in full fight, but i have still been able to play and so far its been no more errors, just hope i don't jinx it now, you know speaking about the devil and all.

I had this problem the very first time I installed 2142. I installed from DVD. It could be something to do with some random bit of DirctX9.0c I didn't have and neither did 2142 but I needed it I downloaded it from microsoft's website and it worked. That could be something else though. Just google it. When I was doing googling it (2 years ago) it was a common BF2 problem I think. One of the many fixes suggested worked. The DirectX problem I think may have been something else but not quite sure.

I've had this as well, though it was a long time ago. I believe the best fix was to re-install the game, and to also delete your 2142 cache files.
(search for the cache thing, it's in this forum somewhere I promise)
