Switching Channels in TS with keybinds

After seaching the forums and looking over five or so pages of topics, I haven't found what I was looking for.

I set up two keybinds, one to switch to the BF2142 TS channel, and the other to go to the 11th A.I.R. channel.

Switching to the BF2142 channel works fine. However, when I use the keybind that is set to return to the 11th channel, it will not work. I'm guessing this is due to the fact that the different IHS channels are sub-channels.

Anyone know a way to work around this?

Re: Switching Channels in TS with keybinds

You need two keybinds one for the IHS general channel and one for the sub-channel.

Re: Switching Channels in TS with keybinds

D is correct, you can't switch into a sub without first switching into the main channel. In other words, from 2142 you must into IHS and then into the 11th channel.

Re: Switching Channels in TS with keybinds

Can someone please post how to do this?
I have keybindings to increase and decrease TS volume but I'm not sure how to change channels. I'd like to hop between Main BF2142 channel and the 3rd SFD channel.

When you create a new keybind, in the first action box click on 'Switch to' in the box next to it, click on 'Channel' and the box next to it (above the password box) will be a pull down menu, search within this for the channel you want to switch to. (You need to be connected to TS for the pull down menu to list the channels.) Hope this helps, if not, I'll try to explain it better.

Re: Switching Channels in TS with keybinds

Im pretty sure that my keybind to go from the 2142 channel to the 9th MID channel is just 1 key bind. I dont have to switch to IHS sub then to the 9th, but Im at work and cannot check right now... I have mine bound to keypad 9 and it works fine
