i just downloaded the game 12 hours. complications.... and it comes up with a thing saying
"the application is not a valid windows image" please please please. help me

First off , Welcome to Tactical Gamer.

Can you please provide a little more information on your problem. It would go a great way in getting it solved. Please tell us your system specs(OS, CPU, RAM, ect.) and where the error is occuring (ie. While installing, while trying to run, ect.)

This most likely means that the file in question is corrupt and you'll either have to redownload or reinstall, but if you can provide the information above it may be something else.

Welcome to TG! This is super common, it could be one of two things really!

First off, let's trouble shoot!

Are you using Mac, Vista, or XP?

Did you apply any patches?

How much RAM do you currently have?

Did you play the demo? Did it work?

Then we'll be able to get you in the battlefield ASAP! By the way, try to title your posts with something more a long the lines of your problem so others who suffer from this problem can refer to this post and get it fixed! Thanks!

Hey chrisangus, welcome to TG.
Quick question that others haven't mentioned: did you buy and download the game from EA or did you simply download it off a torrent website?

Unfortunately, to play online, (where 90% of the content and 100% of the fun is) you need a legitimate copy of the game. If you don't have a legit copy, you can get it for about $20 in Northa America.

Hmm, I looked into it. Not sure if your coming back, but that sort of sounds like you downloaded the games .exe via a torrent site, and you probably downloaded a cracked patch. Well, if you are using a pirated version, there is a few tools you are going to need. I will not explain those few tools, or even how to set it up. These forums aren't meant to help fix priated games. Still it WILL NOT work on multiplayer, the EA Server will detect the clone. Your best bet it is to pick it up in the store or THE OFFICIAL download via EA LINK.
