I downloaded and installed NS but every time I try and join an NS server it tells me i have to buy the expansion pack. Anyone else have this issue?

I had this for awhile. You gotta link the Product ID of your NS to your account, unfortunately I don't remember how to do this, but I'll look into it and post back here if I find it.

I also baught NS through the EA Store thing, and had the exact same problem.

You should have been emailed an EA Link code, correct? I'm not sure if this has changed but this was the problem I had.

I BELIEVE if you go to www.ea.com, and Sign in, then go to http://www.ea.com/ealink/ you'll see something at the bottom that says:

To redeem an EA Link code, enter it here:

Put i your EA Link code in that box and hit submit, and it should be easy to get NS linked to your account from there.

I have a similar issue exept that I bought the BF 2142 Gold edition at Gamestop. The damn Northern Strike addon won't work, and tech support isn't helping. Any advice?

basically your NS key hasn't been attatched to your EA name yet (not char name, the main account)
