false patch error

I received a false error for incorrect patch. Why and how can it be fixed?

I had the same error and others when trying to reinstall game, 1.4 and NS add on. finally i found on the EA help page saying that you should have 3 gb of memory free. I certainly did not so i deleted about 8 gb and it work without any problems. I dont know if this will help you, but it did help me. Finally a clean install, it even loads better now.

I found one oddity about this bug: it clears up if you leave the main server and enter the second server...

It returned tonight after a round or two...

Should I reinstall the patch?
