Screen Shots for Dummies: What buttons was that?
Howdy everyone!!!
Now I know this is pretty elementary stuff. I've taken screen shots before, a couple of times when we where beta testing Wake island with the sir.community. But lately its not working for me.
I have pressed Prt Scr/sys rq, Shift+Prt Scr, and Ctrl+PrtScr and after each game I go into \My Documents\Battlefield 2142\Screen shots folder and no new pictures. Just to let you know I haven't change any settings that would have been normally set up during the install of BF2142.
I tend to play a bit later when there is no Admin present and there was a situation the other night right after a server crash/dump where I thought I took some screen shots of player names that where involved in some questionable game play, I wanted to pass them on to an admin, and needless to say they where not in my folder. In that sort of situation it important to have proof to go with a complaint.
So I have to ask, How do you take a screen shot and make sure it is saved to your hard drive.
Thanks
Stark

its just 'print screen'
then goto \My Documents\Battlefield 2142\Screen shots
I find www.fraps.com to be a better tool though, it gives frames per second indicator and visual feedback when you have captured a picture

I like the xfire SS system too. Auto uploads my SS to my xfire page. its a great way for me to keep track of who is in my squads and share my ss.
