What do you run 2142 on?
Sorry guys, I just made this thread because I'm a PC enthusiast and would like to know what kind of computers you guys play battlefield on.
My Custom Rig:
-Asus P5N32 SLI SE Deluxe Motherboard
-Intel Core 2 Duo e6600 2.4 ghz (w/ Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Cooler)
-Thermaltake Toughpower 700w PSU
-2 sticks Corsair XMS2 6400 2 gigs
-BFG 9600GT Overclocked
-Soundblaster Audigy SE
-WD 200 gig HD at 7200 RPM

I use a Mac Pro with Boot Camp and Windows XP Pro. 2.8Ghz quad-core Xeon, 6GiB RAM, GeForce 8800 GT.

It's really just an assortment of random stuff. Been thinking of building my own because my current motherboard can't support a quad core, and the power draw is too much for the power unit...btw, I'm cooking an egg on the top of it atm.

Asus MB socket 478, 533mhz FSB. AGP 4X
2 gig kingston value ram 133mhz(266) running at 150mhz(300)
pentium 4 2.6ghz running at 3.0 ghz
geforce 7600 512mb agp 8x running at 4x(i know, i know)
Audigy 2 sound card 6.1 running 7.1 speakers.
Broadband was 512kb down and 128k up and it was useless.
I am looking at getting a new rig but I am in the process of buying a home at the moment so I may or may not get what I want, which is DDR3 MB that is pci x 2.0 capable with the x48 chipset and 1600 mhz FSB......well I can dream, cant I ????

Sorry for thread hijack but I was wondering what settings people run on as well. I run all low except for medium texture, effects, terrain, 2x AA, medium texture filtering, enhanced lighting on, and 100% viewing distance.

I run all settings at High with Anti-Aliasing at 2x
I run Audio with a creative X-fi since I just got it today. It took my a while but i finally fixed it and run at ultra high audio
