Teamspeak
Ok, total rookie question from a guy who has been playing this game for well over a year now. What is Teamspeak? So, I just downloaded and logged in, but cant really tell what it does. The Teamspeak link tells how to get it, but really nothing else.
Now that i have shown my ignorance, can someone please show me the light?|TG| Wineo

Teamspeak is a communication tool used for talking to everyone in a game you are playing.
Once you log onto the TG TS Server you can then switch to the 2142 channel and report problem players and chit chat between rounds.
Are you sure you logged into the TG teamspeak server. Here's how to set it up, click this link and follow the instructions on the next page, then you're good to go.
Some usefull/necessary features, "Push to talk" this will only transmit your voice when you push the button you associate with it. This is necessary because we don't want to hear every word you are saying
Key bindings for volume up and volume down, some people like to talk too much in the TS channel

Ok, I'm retarded. Basically, I followed the instructions, connected, then play the game as normal. Do I need to change any settings?

You might want to turn off the sounds, other wise you are going to here, "Member Joined" and "Member Left" constantly as people join and leave teamspeak. Also make sure you have "Push to Talk" set so we don't hear everything you say/everything going on at your house.

You're also probably sitting in the "Default" channel, move to the 2142 channel by double-clicking the channel, as cat said.
