Wireless problem after sp3
Hi,
I'm just seeing if anyone else knows something I can try, but I updated my XP to SP3 about a week ago, and since then, have had a lot of problems with my connection in game. I have since found that my ping over wireless to my router is dropping or slows dramatically every 10 seconds or so, which is why my internet and game play lose connection. I think SP3 has done something. I tried reinstalling latest drivers for wireless card and have even rolled back to SP2, but still got a problem. Any other things I can try before I reinstall everything?

Never had your problem sorry. Anyway you shouldn't play online games over wireless, you loose valuable milliseconds to the server. And that can be the difference between life and death! Go wired dude, that's my opinion.

My network connection suddenly started having problems too lately, and I recently updated to SP3. My in game ping was getting higher than usual, and my entire network was just crapping out all the time. I fixed all of my problems by updating the firmware on my router. Check out this post I just put up today, kind of weird timing if that ends up being your problem too.
