Whole screen is messed up and cant see anything

When my game loads it lets me choose my spawning spot and setup my kit but in the background behind all of it i can see the screen is just a bunch of pixelated colors. Then when i click to actually enter i can see my cross hair and move but all i can see is my entire screen is basically solid blue of pixelated blocks and the top 1/5th of it is solid green. When i move around the colors move some its kind of like the screen is zoomed in ridiculously some how. When i try to change the resolution or any video settings the game freezes up.

Here is a screenshot of the problem.

Okay just for the future when you post a technical related problem please inform us on the system you're using, it really slows down the process. Anyways, I have heard things that the 7 series Nvidia cards have had this problem, the 7900 I think was the worst with it. But since I don't know what you're running try putting all of you graphic settings to the lowest possible and see if anything changes, sometimes this can be a quick fix for problems such as this.

Also try to update your graphic-drivers.

I ran a 7900 GT KO for over a year, and never had an issue with it, nor heard of any rampant issues in 2142 with them (they were flaky for the first few months due to bad memory chips).

I'd say that's probably a driver problem, as the minimap and the rest of your HUD shows up fine, and all 3d objects are gone.

Go to Start>run and type dxdiag. This will bring up a diagnostic tool that will tell the hardware you have.

Let us know what the following things are:

Yeah I didn't mention the drivers just because I wasn't sure what he was running. The reseting of the graphics options can often be used as a "reset" button in a way.

Yeah, the factory incorrectly clocked a select few on the bios which slowly deteriorated the cards when they were first coming out, which resulted in the bad memory chips.
