Re: un-bann
Well, from what I can surmise from your un-punctuated post, it sounds like you're already in contact with the admins, so you're on the right track. They are the ones to assist you if you were indeed banned.
Now, if they're saying you're not banned anymore, and you can't join or are getting kicked from the server, it could be because you are either trying to join when the server is full (46/48), or you are getting kicked from the server to make room for a supporting member.|TG-55| Infantry Division - Captain

He was referred here because we feel that it may be a technical issue. Any help for him would be greatly appreciated.

Re: un-bann
um first of all i try to go on yours guys server, WHEN IT'S NOT FULL! WHEN NO ONE IS ON!
but it keeps saying "youve been banned from the server from a server aadmin or excessive teamkilling" so either this is just a screwed up server that thinks im banned, when IVE NEVER BEEN ON IT. or it's just that you guys are lying too me either way it's a peice of ***

Re: un-bann
ninja, first I'll apologize for my somewhat rude post. I'd like to back up, start over and welcome you to the forums if I may.
I know that if there's a problem with your game, connection to the server, etc., the guys here on the forums should be able to help you get it figured out.
I would suggest starting off with Exploding_Silver's questions and suggestions.|TG-55| Infantry Division - Captain

Re: un-bann
Please keep in mind that what you're experiencing, is most likely an error with PUNKBUSTER. I know there's a number of servers that may not use PB, but we're one that does because we like to keep a high level of gameplay integrity and maturity with the least chance of impure clients and hacks.
Which is common. Every now and again PB gets wonky with me, because I also play Call of Duty 4 and the Battlefield 2 Project Reality and Point of Existence mods.
PR and PoE cause the most problems with PB, but those are game specific.
With 2142, the easiest solution is to go to the PunkBUster site, and download the full client and run the install. It'll ask you what games you would like to add; add 2142 (and any other games you have that use PB) and then hit Update.
Let it do it's thing, and when done, try rejoining and go from there."But way back where I come from, we never mean to bother. We don't like to make our passions other peoples' concern." -Dar Williams

Re: un-bann
Yeah from what I am reading it sounds like punkbuster to me, definitely update that first off and then proceed with Exploding_Silver's steps to troubleshoot it.
You will find if you keep your attitude / frustration in check on the forums you will get A LOT more helpful responses. Punctuation helps too :P But I suppose is not required.

Re: Can't join a server (previously titled un-bann)
Don't Punkbuster errors usually manifest as an error that says "punkbuster" and not much else?
Ninja, did you purchase this game new or from someone else (aka used)?
