Patch level for TG server gaming
I'm patched at 1.4.
I see a 1.5 patch recently released. Looking over the posts I didn't find a reference to what me and my [TG-MD6] buddies will need to jump back into BF2142.
I've downloaded the 1.5 ready to go but was waiting until I nkew for certain I needed it. I see it adds a couple of maps.
Hold at 1.4 or update?

As far as I know, you need to update to patch 1.50 You will not be able to play on any servers (inc. TG) without it.

ArmoredBear is correct. You will need 1.5 to play on pretty much any BF2142 server now. Servers running 1.5 are not compatible with clients running 1.4.

Anyone installing 2142 from scratch must follow these steps in order to get 2142 and Norther Strike, if applicable, working properly.
Install base 2142
Install Patch 1.4
Install Norther Strike
Install Patch 1.4
Install Patch 1.5
Update Punkbuster (not always necessary, but it seems to help)
TG Primer - BF2142 Server Rules - Code of Conduct
Contact a Game Admin

This is pretty much the recommended upgrade path even if you don't have Northern Strike. Several people have reported problems with their game crashing in BFHQ->Awards and have been able to fix that by reinstalling with the sequence above.
