I want |TG| not [TG]
Hi, I'm new here, by the way.
I have been trying to get the |TG| tag. But BF2142 is not letting me put the || around it. Everytime I press shift and \ (that gives you |) I get a space function.
So I had to put [] instead of || (which doesn't look as cool).
Anyone has any idea what's going on?

Yeah just put it in there.
It doesnt show til your ingame. The space is fine.

Within that forum is a thread discussing exactly your issue. I don't aim to post it, though, as I find it disrespectful that you would ask how to wear the tags when you've done nothing to earn them.Fight!

Well the TG server is the only server I play (unless it is full). I abide by all the TG conducts (I think all other servers should abide by them too. They are the right way to play any game). and even if that does not qualify me, the FAQ of the forum (under the question "Can I wear the |TG| tags?") says:
"Tactical Gamer is an open community of mature gamers. We're not a clan that requires you to go through a process to join and then be eligible to wear our tags. We would like any player who agrees to and abides by our rules to feel welcomed to our family. If that is the case, then by all means, wear the |TG| tags."
I tried the search feature of the forum but did not find anything (I went so far as to put || in the search).
But thanks for the Info.

I must correct you Zhohar. Our tags are not earned. They are agreed upon. No one earns our tags, ever. So long as people agree to upon TG values and follow the rules to the best of thier ability, they may wear the tags. Nothing in our forums shows you or anyone else who has read our rules or not, this system is based 100% on trust alone and us as admins to enforce, interpret, and define.
