Audio channels switched with TS and 2142.

I've been searching long and hard for an answer to my problems, but so far I've found nothing. Now, this doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it's really an annoyance to hear the right side sounds from the left channel, and vice versa. It never does this when I don't have Teamspeak open, so my assumption is it's due to a problem with Teamspeak, that only happens occasionally.

    My system specs are:
Intel Core2Duo e8400 @ 4Ghz [500x8] [It's not due to the overclock. It'd do the same thing at stock]
    4Gb Mushkin Redlines DDR2-1000
    XFX Geforce 8800GT
    Asus Xonar DX sound card
    Vista x64 SP1

All drivers are up to date, and computer is free of malware/spyware. I run a fairly tight ship.

    Any ideas?

Ok, are you using a headset or a speaker system?

Does the headset have stated right and left channels? (Is an R and L printed on it?)

That is something that got me when I first started using my new pair.

One similar thing that can happen is where TS will randomly stop functioning which causes a mass failure in the communication system in bf2142. The only way to temporarily fix that is to reboot bf2142.

It's no user error good sir, the headset is a pair of Sennheiser PC151s, and the boom is always on the left side, or else it'd be backwards. xD

I have a similar problem, but when TS is open, in game VOIP won't work occasionally.

I would like to know how to fix it too.

I was not saying it was a user error rather than software or hardware. But I had a pair of Logitech headphones that had the boom on the right. The pair I bought at the store (no-name brand) had the boom on the left. All I'm saying is that this remains a possibility.

    Well, good try, thanks anyway.

Boom only folds down one way too.
