PB issue w/ Windows Vista 64
Subject sais it all. I upgraded by box to to vista 64 to take advantage of the 8GB of ram I just put in and now I get punk bustered every time I join a game with in 5-15 seconds.
I also upgraded my GFX card at the same time to a 4870 1GB DDR5.
Last night after I installed 2142 I patched patch 1.5.
Anyone have any ideas what is wrong with it or more importantly how to stop the kicks?
PS I am a supporting member already.

After the install I was still getting a kick but with a dofferent message. I restarted it as an admin and that seems to have fixed it. Thanks for the help all.

I also run Vista 64 and have gotten into the routine to open PBSetup and run the updates as it is not always the most efficient for automatically updating. By doing this once a week or so, I suspect I have prevented manypotential PB issues.
BF2142 is more "touchy" in Vista 64 than on XP, I have discovered a few Vista 64 bit specific issues that work fine in XP.|TG| RoadWarrior

Since I haven seen this before:
Make sure you run the game as admin!
Right click on the icon and choose run as admin. It is not enough to be logged in as admin for vista. You also have to run things as admin ... weird stuff.
