need advice ..again
Well im basicly building a computer from scratch but i could use some advice.
Here are some computer parts im getting http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186165 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814140095 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817338009
Ok im obliviously replacing basically every part of my computer except the IDE dvd and cd drives and getting a os disk but i have 2 remaining concerns.
1.There is a power cable of some kind that connects from the power button to the mother board im not sure if it will fit on the new mother board
2. is 256MB memory enough for battlefield 2142? Ill probably going to put textures lighting and terrain on medium when i get the new parts.
Note the current case im using is a dimension 3000 case i really dont feel like replacing it if i dont have to

I am not too experience with upgrading computer, but you should definitely up grade your RAM to at least 2 gigs. I am waiting for the new mac to come out in the future, its said to have 1 TB memory and 8 gigs of RAM! BUt you should definitely upgrade RAM, the game requirements are 512MB of ram.

I would pop up to the hardware & software forum. There are guys there that can really answer questions of this sort.

Re: need advice ..again
Just copy-paste the first post there. Also I would recommend getting a 512 mb video card. No need to upgrade if you aren't going for a tangible increase in visual quality/fps. 2 Gig of ram is ok if you are going to use Windows XP.
