Discussion: Battlefield 2142 / Battlefield 2142 - Technical Support & FAQs - signature dosn't show ? - Made a signature so everyone would know Shane, me, is actually LG-99 but not so
Made a signature so everyone would know Shane, me, is actually LG-99 but not so sure what I am doing wrong. should it show up in old posts? thx for any help.
Is the pic inside the post called the sig or somthing else?
Firstly you need your image hosted somewhere on the web like photobucket or similar site.
Next click on "User CP" on these boards (top left)
3rd section down on the left click "Edit Signature"
Above the white box that shows up click the yellow box icon (kinda looks like a mountain in the yellow box) put in the url to your image in the little pop-up window then click "OK".
Click "Preview Signature" to make sure all is well.
Then click "Save Signature"
I think jazy2 is right as it is the same for me, you do not have to host a sig (you can if you want to), you can upload an image to the TG server as long as "The maximum size of your custom image is 468 by 100 pixels or 48.8 KB (whichever is smaller)." Also I see that you only have 11 posts, so I think that you need to post more for the sig to show up (do not spam!), I am not sure of the amount of posts you need, but I am sure an Admin will chime in and tell us what it is as they are more than happy to help out, I think it is 15, but I may be wrong.
Also when you are posting in advanced mode, select below the reply box "show your signature" this should remain the "default" for all your posts including "quick reply" until you change it, if you want to.
Hope that helps.!

Reason: mehhh
I'm not sure this is right.. It will load your signature from your profile as it is now, not how it was before. So yes it should show in old posts..
(Change your signature, and come back, and it will be different...)
You are correct it will update older post if you had a sig in place. However, it will not insert a sig into older posts, if the post in question did not already have a signature.
Okay... I get the update thing. I have a sig and I post a post (like here), but my pic doesn't show up.
I've added the picture in the User CP - Edit Signature page and "Your Current Signature Picture" shows the pic (it's the advanced infantry TGU tag)... but it doesn't show up in the previews or posts. What else do I have to do?
I want a semi-automatic grenade launcher for the support role... like the one available in Aliens vs. Predator 2. All those different "warhead" types would be extremely useful.

hint: this [sigpic][sigpic] needs to appear in your sig somewhere...
LG-99 sorry to dissapoint but has no real meaning. Im a big star wars geek boba being 1 of my favorite characters but is also many others fav so I went with a made up version of a bounty hunters name LG-99 , In my mind a more badass version of IG-88, Boba Fetts nemesis. also I like get smart with agent 99 (the old show) though the new movie was good. that had somthing to do with it.
I hope it didnt hurt to much is just somthing I would say sometimes to people I got done Tattooing, only if they where cry babies lol. there enough spamming to get to 15 post lol,
thx guys, ill probably install photoshop later and remake my sig. cya in game.
Eight months later I finally received the reports from three peer-reviews on my latest manuscript with the University of Toronto Press. This will be my third book with the same press and the second...

Rage makes a great case for using the VR as a place for training as a sniper. Virtual training rooms for training in virtual warfare.
